Roving Beetle _____________________ Yesterday was our first parent-teacher conference day after the end of quarter one. Before meeting the parents (and some students), we congregated in the auditorium and I randomly caught sight of a roving beetle. Reminds me of my 4th grade teacher Mr. Martz and the science projects we used to do. I used to roam around the fields and catch bugs. Oh, how I miss those days! Now I barely see any bugs or roam around fields... .. Oy, anyway the beetle seemed pretty content, minding its own business and walking alongside the wall of the stage until I picked it up with a paper box. Didn’t want to see it get killed, so I put it in our new school garden.
