Cari Silverwood’s “Seize me From Darkness” is the fourth book in the “Pierced Hearts” book series and a MUST READ for anyone who’s into dark erotica. The story continues with the reunion of Pieter, a sadist who struggles with morality and his desires to dominate Jazmine, a once independent woman who must now come to grips with her submission. Their fate rests in the hands of Gregor – a known human trafficker and sadistic torturer and a mysterious Client who derives pleasure and satisfaction through humiliation and torture.

Cari takes the reader through, yet, another tantalizing dark and twisted journey of BDSM, caning, whipping, piercings, torture, and nonconsensual (but HOT) sex. Aside from the dark erotic twists and turns that make you question your own sanity, what I love and appreciate about this book (and really all of the books in this series) is the internal/psychological struggle of the characters. Great character and plot development, and the mystery and suspense will leave the reader in a state of pure ecstasy and conflict as the lines of “good” and “bad” are blurred.
